Venture Trend Sponsors Surf Pro

As SURF PRO comes to Las Americas, Venture Trend is stoked to be an official sponsor of such a cool and vibrant event.  

This championship, which runs from 25th November to 8th December 2022, attracts some of Europe’s finest surf talent who come to the island to mix it on the world-class waves of Playa de las Americas.

 

The Venture Trend food truck will be there throughout the event, feeding the hungry competitors and spectators with dishes from three of its restaurants – juicy burgers and other favourites from Dedos, delicious Asian dishes from Mrs Miyagi’s and super-healthy bowls from Origins.

 

The Venture Trend selection of restaurants – which also includes Bloom Bar & Brunch and Meat Boutique – has a lot in common with the surfing community.  Not only do we share a daring, happy and relaxed attitude, we also both live for something we are passionate about – in our case, food.

 

 The event will take place in the main surfing area of Playa de las Americas with an emphasis on the notorious La Izquierda de Las Palmeras – a long, reeling left break that has attracted surfers from all over the world.  

 

Known as “Spanish Left” to English speakers, the wave is a reliable reef break that offers surf at all tide levels although it’s definitely not for beginners and proper care needs to be taken of rocks and locals.

 

When the conditions are right – namely a swell coming in from the northwest coupled with a decent offshore wind – this wave goes off big time.

 

There will be plenty to do for the whole family during the competition with DJ’s, live music, entertainment, and competitions for the children.
