As it’s the first newsletter of the year we thought we would switch our attention to Meat Boutique! The guys did such a great job over the busy Christmas period, keeping up with the high demand; we wanted to send all the team a huge Thank you.
We would also like you to meet one of the newest members of the team Svetoslav Georgiev. Originally from Bulgaria his friends and colleagues call him “Sisco.” A lot of you may remember him as one of the waiters in Thai Botanico at Safari Centre until his recent move to Meat Boutique.
Sisco´s professional background was in public relations so it was only fitting that he was keen to get on the shop floor within our luxury butchers. The young man can speak several languages including: Russian, English, Spanish, German, French and Serbian!
After moving to Tenerife three years ago he started working at Venture Restaurants almost straight away, and has been with us ever since.
He is passionate about the work he does in Meat Boutique and has loved learning about all the different cuts of meats, trimming methods and techniques. When asked which cut is his favourite & he says he always recommends the 40 day dry aged special cut from Bilbao. He frequently visits Char on his day off to enjoy it cooked to perfection in their famous Josper oven.
When not at work he regularly devotes his time to exploring new places and relishes in the freedom his motorbike gives him. Siscos favourite tipple is a Macallan whisky on the rocks.
