Recipe of the month!

This month as summer is in full swing and BBQ´S are lighting up on nearly every balcony we have decided to share a little of our Empire burger secret. Of course the Empire Burger itself is a very closely guarded recipe but our chefs suggest to make the ultimate BBQ burger you use our recommended choice of toppings, gherkin, foie gras & English Cheddar cheese along with any salad of your choice.
But that’s not it. Every good burger likes to stand alongside some great tomato chutney. Here Ian explains how you can make your own tomato chutney to accompany your burger, to make your BBQ stand out from the crowd!
Ingredients:
1 kilo of fresh tomato’s
1 clove of garlic
200grams of sugar
400ml white wine vinegar
dash of salt & pepper
Method:
Place all ingredients in a pan stirring constantly over a medium heat until a sticky jam like consistency.
Serve in a dipping bowl next to your burger. Enjoy.
