One of our bestselling pasta dishes served at Bianco´s is our Spicy Garlic Prawns over Tagliatelle. Here is an easy to make similar version designed by our chef Marcello for you to create at home.
This recipe serves 4.
Ingredients:
500 grams Tagliatelle
1tbsp Olive Oil
2 Crushed Garlic Cloves
2 Finely chopped red chilies
3 sliced spring onions
750 grams or raw, peeled and de-veined prawns
300 grams hot salsa
1 1/2 cups of cream
2 tbsps chopped fresh parsley
Method:
Cook the pasta in a pot of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente, then drain.
Heat the olive oil, add the crushed garlic, chili and spring onions and cook over a medium heat for 2 minutes or until garlic is soft and golden.
Add the prawns and cook for a further 5 minutes, or until the prawns are browned.
Add the hot salsa and cream and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
Divide the pasta among 4 plates, top with the sauce and garnish with parsley and chopped warmed cherry tomatoes.
