Recipe of the month

As the summer is well & truly here & BBQ season is in full swing we are sharing our tasty teriyaki chicken recipe for the BBQ.

TERRIYAKI CHICKEN (served x 6 people)
250-mil soya sauce
250 ml brown sugar
50 grams of ginger
Assortment of meat boutique chicken thighs wings and breast
2 x tablespoons of honey
100 grans toasted sesame seeds.

Preheat your pan to a medium heat; add your sugar, ginger and honey.
Reduce the contents for roughly 30 minutes until you have nice thick syrup.
Meanwhile throw your chicken parts on the BBQ and cook for roughly 10 minutes over an open flame. (10minutes will only partially cook the chicken)
Remove the chicken from the BBQ and place onto a plate. – Coat the chicken in your toasted sesame seeds and place one by one into the pan with your teriyaki sauce.
Leave to simmer constantly turning your chicken until fully cooked.
Serve and enjoy.
