As our newest Venture, Meat Boutique butchers is now open, this months recipe of the month is one of our butcher Kev´s very own recipes.
You can pop in and purchase your meat from our butchers Kev & JP every Monday – Friday 9.30am – 7pm or Saturdays 10am – 2pm. We are situated at edificio Karma in El Madroñal, just opposite from the German school. You can also ask them for their recommendations for the best cuts of the week and also some handy cooking tips. Don´t forget you can also purchase a selection of our favorite Venture Restaurants wines, oils and cooking salts, to finish off your dinner to perfection.
Herb Crusted Fillet
4 Fillets of Beef
4 tablespoons of olive oil
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of dry rosemary
1 teaspoon of dry thyme
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Place oil and garlic in a covered bowl and heat in the microwave for 1 minute, remove and leave on the side to cool.
Once cool, add the dry herbs, salt & pepper and mix well. Pour the mixture over the fillets, cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for 1 – 24 hours.
Heat a small amount of olive oil in a non-stick pan and cook the fillets on a high heat for 5 minutes on each side. Leave to rest for 5 minutes and enjoy with a side of your choice.
