March saw the much-anticipated opening of Venture Group Tenerife’s latest restaurant, the Oriental-themed Mrs Miyagi’s Asian Urban Kitchen.
The new venue is one of three new Venture Group restaurants opening in the X-Sur Shopping Centre alongside Meat Boutique and Dedos X-Sur.
Conceived as a casual dining concept, the restaurant serves “real comfort food from the towns and cities of Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam and China – re-imagined and elevated to match the expectations of today’s urban diners”.
What this means to the visitor is a loud and fun environment designed to evoke the streets of Southeast Asia where iconic, modern-nostalgic Oriental favourites are prepared and served with a passion for the ingredients and an attention to culinary detail.
Mrs Miyagi’s is already proving very popular with local people who are popping in after a visit to the cinema or after a shopping trip to enjoy the vibrant flavours of the Far East. Obviously, a huge bonus is the enormous free carpark behind X-Sur which means diners are guaranteed a space even on the busiest days.
