One of Venture Group’s flagship restaurants celebrated its sixth birthday with an afternoon and evening of first-class entertainment, fun, festivities and of course, gastronomic distinction.
Lagarto Brasserie specialises in French and Belgium cuisine and has a reputation for being an important and respected destination in the foodie village of La Caleta. So it was with much delight that the wonderful staff welcomed guests, old and new, to join them in celebrating this milestone.
Setting the tone for the day was chantress Elaine Alexander whose soulful tunes lent a relaxing and sophisticated backdrop to the occasion as diners raised their glassed to six amazing years of exceptional service, exquisite flavours and cherished memories.
As part of the celebrations, Lagarto introduced its brand new, and much anticipated, Gastro-Lunch. Crafted by the restaurant’s expert chefs, the menu takes diners on a journey through flavours and textures that epitomise the “Lagarto twist” and showcase the gastronomic excitement and innovation that have become synonymous with the Lagarto experience.
Guests arrived to be met with a cold glass of Chandon Garden Spritz before sampling a selection of dishes which represent Lagarto’s evolution and included much loved classic such as dressed oysters, tuna tataki, creamy prawn croquettes, cod in chickpea tempura, Iberian pork cheek and dame blanche.
You can try the Gastro-Lunch for yourself every day from 13:30 -15:30hrs, which comes with a carefully selected bottle of wine to share between two people for only 39€.
