Cocktail of the month

The Sangrinha was a cocktail made popular by Bianco and one of our first members of staff almost a decade ago. We thought we would show you how to go about making this fabulous refreshing cocktail as it has now become legendary among our customers. It is both colourful and tasty with lovely fresh fruit ingredients.
40 mil – cachaca
20 mil – passoa
25-mil – orange juice
3 x lemon wedges and one tablespoon scoop of fresh passion fruit
20 mil white sugar syrup (2 parts sugar and 1 part water)
2 x dashes of port
2 x orange slices
Grab a Collins glass and muddle up your cachaca, passion fruit, lime wedges and white sugar syrup. Fill a fresh Collins glass with crushed ice. Add your orange juice and passoa to the muddled Collins glass contents, shake for 20 seconds with a mixer and pour over the crushed ice. Add two dashes of red wine port for colour contrast, decorate with your orange slices and serve.
