Last Wednesday Venture Group Tenerife’s Finca Tres Roques in Ifonche was lucky enough to host a large group of children and their families from a Canarian amputee rehabilitation camp called Amp Camp Kids.
The afternoon was full of laughter, eating and play as the kids explored the grounds of this country hideaway high in the hills behind Arona in Tenerife’s south.
Founded by Ben Lovall, himself an amputee following a blood clot in his leg in 2017, the camp aims to provide an environment where guests can come and work on certain areas of their life in order to help them move forward. During their stay they get the chance to learn from Ben’s inspirational talks and share their own experiences.
Staff from Canarian Weekly were at Finca Tres Roques to enjoy the day, the food and the company and have written an article explaining all about Amp Camp and the work it does.
